1. Agreement to Terms

By installing and using the SmartReturns Shopify App ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SmartReturns provides analytical tools and automated order tagging designed to help Shopify merchants identify and mitigate the risks associated with Cash on Delivery (COD) returns and cancellations. The Service is provided on a flat-rate subscription basis of $10 per month.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

You are responsible for the actions taken within your Shopify store based on the insights provided by SmartReturns. We provide risk assessments and automated tagging based on historical algorithmic data, but we do not guarantee the prevention of all losses or the exact behavior of any customer. You retain ultimate control over your store's fulfillment processes.

4. Data Authorization

By installing the Service, you grant us permission to access, process, and securely hash your store's order and customer data strictly for the purpose of operating the Service, as defined in our Privacy Policy.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SmartReturns, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost sales, or logistical costs.

6. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the application from your Shopify admin panel. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.
